Toilet and bathroom fittings

Toilet and bathroom fittings

A different lock is used for bathroom and toilet doors than for normal pedestrian doors. These doors can be 'locked'. We have various solutions for closing such a door; Each door handle has a different free and occupied lock. There are roughly five different ways to lock a toilet door. A closure on a bathroom and toilet lock can be used. Then a shield is placed with a button and plate at a distance of 56, 63 or 72 millimeters. A toilet closure with a rosette can also be used. Then you can also opt for an old-fashioned flap, which is a loose toilet closure that is provided with a free occupancy plate on the outside. What is less common but also possible is a mortise latch with a toilet fitting. This is a lock in the door separate from the barrel lock. Finally, sometimes the easiest option is chosen; a cabin hook on the inside. That solution is not preferred because, unlike all other options, it cannot be opened from the outside.
