Some bolts, some nuts or other threaded connections simply should not come loose all the time and do. Take the bolt of the door fitting, or the screw of a fender bar on the bicycle, a bolt in another vehicle such as the trunk lighting in the car. It doesn't matter what the issue is, if something doesn't have to vibrate loose, there is a good solution: a locking agent. Locking agent is a type of rubbery glue that is applied to a thread so that it does not vibrate loose on its own. There are three types of locking agent, a light, medium and heavy variant. The light version is for small nuts and bolts. The middle variant can only be loosened with tools and the heavy variant even has to be loosened with heat. Locking agent is also called Loctite.
